    Banana Cake


    125 grams of unsalted butter
    1/2 cup of white or brown sugar
    2 whole eggs
    3-4 ripped bananas cut is slices
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    Half of glass milk
    2 table spoons of honey
    1 and 1/2 self-raising flour
    1 bar of dark chocolate for sweets


    Grease and line a 2lb loaf tin. Melt butter, sugar and vanilla in a saucepan over a medium heat.

    Remove from heat and add the mashed bananas, mix well. Add the eggs, mix well.

    Stir in the flour and the milk.Pour into the prepared tin, sprinkle with a tablespoon of demerara sugar to give a crunch topping if liked.

    Bake at 150 C fan oven (or 170 C regular, Gas mark 3) for 35 mins, until a skewer comes out clean. Heat the chocolate in a small pan and pour over the cake.

    Leave to cool. Enjoy!
